what will i see?

So ive got to go for this scan next thursday, by then i'll be 38 weeks, will I actually see anything on the screen? I know I wont see her head coz she's engaged...But if I wont see much then how the heck do they measure them etc... to find out the weight? Baffling me!

When i had my scan at 36 weeks i saw everything hun

I saw Alastair bits and bobs so clearly thats how i knew he was going to be a boy there was no mistaking lol

I had a scan at 37 weeks with sophie she was a huge baby 911 born and i could not see anything really tbh hun

So i reckon it will depend on how big ur baby is

I had a scanwhen i was 11 days over with Aimee and i couldn't see a thing. They were checking she wasn't breech. They even let me have a go my self and i couldn't make a thing out.

i went for one when i was 28 weeks when they thought it was breach if you remember. the scans not that clear coz the baby is so big but if you ask they will give you a good show. I saw the face and nostrils and hands. and the spine and bum!

we tend to get offered scans at 32 weeks at my local hospital, and most mums i have spoke to said their head just fitted in the picture printouts.

Well don't think i'll be able see her head coz shes engaged all she needs be, wonder if i'll be able see her floo? Just to make sure she's a girl lol!

Still weird how they can estimate the size of the baby when they can't see much!
