Over the weekend i stopped Mia's lunchtime milk feed and just upped what she was having for lunch (meat/fish & veg) i would like to start giving her fruit for pudding, but i normally give that to her at suppertime....so what else could i give her at suppertime-something filling perhaps to still help her sleep!

I give Oliver a little baby porriage before his bed time. This seems to be working. He is going untill 6.00am at the minute! (the Heniz one)

What about rusk mixed with milk?

I used to give this to Olivia with her bedtime bottle when she went through a phase of waking at 2am hoping it would stop her waking in the night, but it didnt work and she wasn't really interested in it so i stopped it and she just has a bottle now!

Im not sure what else apart from a little porride that Jade suggested!

Ellis is just starting to drop his lunch feed but still has one at 4. So i just give him his normal lunch (baby rice and fruit) and then give bigger meal at dinner time (or supper, i call it lunch and dinner!! hehe) and i am going to start a pudding after dinner/supper.

How many bottles are your LO's having a day then?

Olivia is having 5, breakfast, lunch, mid afternoon (2ish), dinner then bedtime!

I have been thinking about trying to drop the afternoon bottle but what do i replace it with? i dont know if she would go from 11-5 without anything in between! Or should i drop her lunch or dinner bottle?

This is so confusing

Ellis dropped it himself hun. He did it when i changed his food first then bottle at lunch time.

He has morning bottle 9am, 4pm bottle, bed bottle and dream feed at 10pm.

Mia just has 3 bottles a day now- 8am, 3pm and 7.30ish.

Kelly- What about dropping Olivia's lunchtime bottle? I just dropped Mia's lunchtime bottle at the weekend and just upped her food at lunchtime and give her a pudding as well-and she drinks loads of water i also bought her afternoon bottle forward by half an hr. It seems to be working ok. Or if you drop her afternoon bottle you could replace it with a snack, fuitpot, petit suis or a fingerfood(rusk, fingers of toast, etc)

She doesn't really put finger foods to her mouth yet so i think i might drop her lunch time bottle and giver har a pudding too!

Im introducing her lumpy food at the minute so once she has got used to this ill will do it see how she gets on!

Tnx Amy :D
