What the heck is this pain?!

I keep getting a dull ache/pain underneath my ribcage on the right hand side. When I am resting it's fine but when I get up to do things it keeps hurting. Is this heartburn? I've never had it before and not sure if this is how it feels.

yea! well mine is and if it gets worse mine sometimes go's around my back to under my shoulder blade or up my chest welcome to the world of heartburn.

I've been getting it in my back beneath my shoulder blade too! I thought heart burn would be a burning sensation in my chest!

I've taken some rennies but it hasn't eased- do you think that's because I've had it for a couplenof days and not treated it before now?

Gaviscon is the only thing that works on me i have tryed everything its horrible but worth it

A really cold glass of milk is quite soothing too!
