Not yet... I've got a maternity pad on (NOT comfy in a thong!! - wasn't expecting to put one one!!) and if it gets wet I've got to go in for swabs and scans... Got my fingers squeezed really tight! X

Definitely go and get checked. I was in for that reason last week, really worth checking and being reassured. Mine turned out not to be amniotic fluid. I'm still amazed at how watery discharge can be and how wet you can feel! :/ lovely! Really hope it's not your waters, but if it is a slow leak from what theh told me, they would keep an eye on things constantly checking fluid around baby and checking for infection etc, just to buy some extra time really. Also steriod injections of baby was going to come. But just see how you go, if the pad feels damp then just go in. - oh and no cant imagine a maternity pad and a thong are a good combination!! oops! Xx

I'm not sure if anyone knows the answer... But when a pad is wet, does it actually feel wet or just go squidgy like a baby's nappy?? X

Thank you. Sorry if tmi but I keep getting that feeling like - you know when you're on your period, and you're conscious of that feeling that fluids coming out - feels like that. It's hard to tell if pad is wet though. As much as I wanna meet my little boy... Not just yet x

Are you on your labour ward being assessed? If you haven't rang them about going down, do it now! It could be discharge or anything but you won't know for certain unless checked. I Feel im going to be constantly 'wet' down there now until baby is here! Keep us posted x

Sugar when you went did they do a speculum check to rule out the water leakage? X

Yes I took my wet pads down and also had a speculum with swabs to check for infection too and the test for amniotic fluid is like a pregnancy test, so you woulsnt have to wait long, and if nothing is wrong they will send you home. But if it is amniotic fluid they can assess the severity and decide where to go from there. Have you gone back down? Xx

What did you wet pads feel like? Stupid question but I don't want to turn up with dry ones thinking they are wet!! Were they wet to the touch? Going to call them in a sec x
