Do you like the traditional, classical names or modern names perhaps with a twist?

Me? I'm a bit of both girl but I think I lean towards old skool in my choices.....

So.... :)

I dont know really, what would you class Brooke under?

I just generally tend to like names that arent overly common

Why did I know you'd be difficult?

I'd say Brooke is modern BUT you're going in for a classic spelling so of course my poll has been proved to be rubbish....

Ok i'll be easy and say i like both lol

I am claiming rights on the name Minnie and thats deffo a classic name!!

i'm a traditional girl! i wanted eve or niamh for this one, but according to daddy, eve's a modern new fangled name...go figure

i LOVE old style names and welsh names (obviously pmsl)..

the names we thought of for Rhys included
English:
Frederick
Thomas
Arthur
Jack
John

Welsh:
Gwion
Evan (welsh version of John)
Rhys

We ended up with John-Rhys

Names we thought of for Ffion
English
Charlotte
Jennifer
Martha
Emily

Welsh
Angharad
Haf
Eleri
Ffion

We ended up with Ffion Lowri - even though Lowri wasnt on any of our lists.

If Colins family wasnt so 'welsh' (LOL) our kids names would be Fredrick and Martha *blush*

I don't know really,my childrens names are not really proper names, well Tara is but the other two are not.
One is named after a River in Russia, and the other one means 'deer' in my mother language,so i'd say 'weird' more then modern or traditional :)

mize i would probably say mya is modern :) love it!

for us i like it with a twist! hence 'maddilynne'

I like them both! Obviously Charlie and Harry are pretty normal but if OH would agree id have somthing unusual!

all mine are old skool, everytime i went for a old name not a new name :)

prob the modern ones for me then.

Altho we did like Max for a boy and i keep getting mixed opnions for that some say oh thats an old one others say thats quite modern.

I dont know i just know we liked it and if we where having a boy thats what we would have used. lol

Oh my dear lord Embo when did you get to 33 weeks? I havent seen you since you had a non existent bump at like 10 weeks!!
