what is going on?????

Hi I have had 8 miscarraiges and havent been able to get pregnant for a year now so the doctor gave me clomid, end of last month i wasnt feeling right so i done some pregnancy tests i got 2 positives, i then started bleeding and had what i just assumed was a period, so thought the tests had been false.
I started taking my clomid on 5th april for 5 days, the last one being on 9th april, i had intercourse on the 10th april and 2 days after that started getting pain in my tummy low down and feeling nauseous and generally not right. i took a pregnancy test today and got a faint positive but was definitely there, what is happening to me? surely its not possible to get pregnant that quick and for it to show up? so was i pregnant before and just bled?

If you've got pain as well I'd get yourself checked out. I don't know much about it but I know you can bleed if you've got an ectopic pregnancy. Maybe worth calling the NHS direct phone line and having a chat to someone and they can suggest what to do? Better to check things out than leave them if that makes sense...

Hey hon, would definetly do as Scotch suggested and go and get yourself checked out. Just to check your ok. In terms of your mc have you been referred to a specialist then for tests etc? If not then you definetly should be! Hope you get it sorted!

If u got two bfps and then started to bleed u should not have assumed it was your period and began the clomid. Before begining the clomid u should have had ur hcg levels checked to make sure either that it was a chemical, early miscarriage or faulty preg tests. Clomid is extremely dangerous if pregnant. U need to see a doc. I don't mean to be so blunt but it is serious esp if u still have the faint pos. The positive test if from the previous cycle as there is no way u could have ovulated and implanted since your last clomid pill on the 9th april.
