I didn't have the most healthy of weekends!!
Ended up having lunch at Carluccio's on Saturday - which wasn't very nice actually. I had a gnocchi with a lamb ragu and I don't think I'll be eating either lamb or gnocci for a long time (the sauce had something really pungent in it, maybe a little star anise?) I also had massive lemon tart for dessert.
Then I had nuggests anf chips for dinner (the kiddies meal from M&S though!) I had with beans, coleslaw and a slice of bread.
Yesterday I was a bit better, although I did have 2 massive cookies.
Today I am back to being healthy LOL!
breakkie was the normal fruit / yoghurt / wholemeal toast
Lunch will be chicken slices on olive crackers with humous, rocket and baby cherry tomatoes.
Dinner will be pasta primavera (chicken breast stir-fried in olive oil, with lemon juice oregano and basil, then I throw in a sliced red pepper, corgette and white onion and I boil up some wholemeal pasta and combine into one big frying pan. I season with more lemon juice and herbs and serve with a little honey and mustard dressing)
It sounds really dry but it's actually super fresh and succulent and I cannot wait for dinner tonight
