They seem to have doubled overnight
Until now my legs and feet hadn't changed at all :D and suddenly I wake up with almost no calves and no ankles and quite swollen feet  Do you think I should worry about it or is it one of the many pleasures of the last week(s)?

Its normal hun I'm afraid (just ask Tillytots) - she posted a pic yesterday of her poor feet. Its just a bit of water retention and should go down after the birth. I think sticking them up works.

    poor you hun
Lovely this pregnancy lark isnt it  but keep telling your self
its all worth it in the end
that what i do when ive got to the stage ive had enough

Perfectly normal unfortunatley. I ended up walking around in a real old lady pair of flip flops which were the only things I could get on my feet - it really was gross.
Put your feet up whenever you can - it does help.
The silver lining (you really really need to be looking hard for it though) was that when C was born I had quite a lot of stitches. They warn you at antenatal that this can really sting when you wee, but my wee was so diluted by all the water retention coming out it was never sore!

yep did you see my gross feet pics? they're on page 2 I think... I know how you feel

Yes I saw your pics... poor you  I have to admit that mine don't look as painful
I was just a bit scared as the change was so sudden (until then I was thinking I would get away with it!)... yesterday I still had my skinny feet and ankles :wall: probably the last part of my body that was still skinny anyways :rotfl:
Do they get better after keeping your feet up?

No hun, no amount of keeping them up helps. I wake up like it :? If yours get worse though I would call midwife just to check its ok. Your bubs has probably droppped right down into your pelvis now and is squashing everything and the pressure is causing all the fluid to pool in your feet now. Hopefuly you'll pop real soon and you'll have your skinny feet back :cheer: :cheer:

Called my MW and she's sending me to hospital to get checked. She said sudden swollen feet + reduced fetal movements might be a sign that baby's moved or that something's going on... so I'm on my way as soon as my OH gets back
