What finally made you realise you were old?

I think it finally sunk in that I'm well past my sell by date. I was doing the weeding last night and thought, hmmm I could do with the kleeneze catalogue for those mats to kneel on when I'm gardening. I'm even thinking of getting those shoes with spikes on to airate my lawn.

I realised I was old the day I got my Dyson hoover. I'd saved up for it and couldn't wait to pick it up. I then spent 2 days hoovering everything in sight and marvelling over how great it was. I can't believe a hoover could bring me so much joy!!!!!!

The other day actually when oh and i went out with a few friends for the night. We hadnt been out for almost a year. Go to the pub had our usual pint of fosters, because we hadnt been drinking for ages it tasted horrible! we tried a few different ones, but they were all sickning.

When it got to 12.30 everyone decided to leave the pub and go onto a club. Oh and I were in the club for about 10mins when we both turned to each other and asked to go home. Which we did, but when we got home instead of our usual throwing up in the toilet which we had done a few times in the past lol... we sat down and had a cup of tea befopre going to bed. lmao It was that point in time that I realised were getting old

lol I think thats when you really know, when fashion does a full circle and you see kids wearing what you did at their age but to them its all very original

I'm 23 so don't feel old yet but I am just completing a year at uni to become a secondary school teacher so no doubt I will feel old quickly
