What do you think of these grils names...

We cant agree on girls names so are going own the route of picking a few each then the other ranks to get a shortlist. Boys names for us are so much easier!

If it helps our son is Alex (full name Alexander James)

Any suggestions for middle names - was trying to avoid Rose and Grace but its so hard there arent really any family names that we would want to use

Ariana Grace, Ariana Tegan, Ariana Kate, Ariana Lili
Carissa Rose, Carissa Grace, Carissa Kate, Carissa Lili
Emilia Rae, Emilia Grace, Emilia Jane, Emilia Kate

Not too keen on Carissa and I prefer the conventional version of Emilia (Amelia)

Ariana is derived from the welsh word arian (silver), although some sites do say its greek (v holy one). Being Wesk, I prefer saying its Welsh

Thanks for your opinion on Carissa and Emilia - I see it as a different name/pronunciation to Amelia, but I know a lot of people dont!

I like how Ariana sounds but I'm amused that it might be shortened to "Ari" which sounds like Harry

Carissa I don't like, but I think Clarissa is pleasant

Emilia seems like nonsense to me. Both Emily and Amelia are very high in the popularity charts so splicing them together is a bit contrived

Jane and Kate are my favourite alternatives to Rose and Grace xx

Either Emilia Rae or Emilia Grace are lovely
Not keen on Ariana personally..
And Carissa is my middle name! haha.. It's okay, but for first name I prefer Emilia xx

Ariana was on our girl list, i think its really pretty.
Quite like Carissa and Emilia too, but read the other day that Amelia/ Emilia is growing in popularity, so if you're looking for something a bit different you might want to avoid that one.

Really like the name Ariana.

Personally not to keen to Carissa makes me think of Harrissa used for cooking (sorry!)

Also like the second name of Lili Sounds sweet.

I really like Ariana and Emilia, I don't like Carissa at all though, sorry to anyone with it as a name!! Just reminds me of American cheer leader types hehe xx

i like Ariana the best, I do like Emilia and it was on my list but the sheer popularity of it as amelia put me off - think its in the top 5 most used names this year and i wanted something unique
