What Do I Need?

Hiya, so I posted a while back when I was early on in my pregnancy. 15 weeks now and I'm 15. I was just wondering, as I'm clueless to this. What exactly I will need? lol.

Well yoru going to need alot of thing but you still got a few months yet hun.
Mainly clothes , a bassinette or crib, blanket , recieving blanket, hats , bottles(if not breastfeeding) , car seat , stroller the list goes on and on .
it does add up though.

If you get a catalogue from babiesrus or mothercare, they have handy lists in them that show what you'll need.....

....you will also need things like, bouncing chair, changing mat, changing bag, baby bath, room thermometer, baby toiletries etc....

the list of things is well long i have to agree..
its useful to write them down and stuff...
i got a little book where i tick things off..

if you get a mother care catalogue... at the back it has a whole list of what to get.... but some stuff you don't really need

I kno it sounds cheap n that but ya can get nice stuff from carboots, auctions, and ebay. especially clothes! u dont want to be spendin LOADS on clothes for the baby to grow out of them in a few months..

I learnt that when i had my daughter.. i went CRAZY!! when i got my surestart grant i just went out brought a cot (which i paid over £100 for!! n went somewhere across the road n seen one for like £30 )
N i spent about £200 on clothes!! but she hardly wore any of them n then she didnt fit in em

U dont need to spend loads for ur baby to be well looked after. I dont get why some people go out n buy ALL sports n named clothes gosh!! lol

Not much help on what u need but just a little advice xx

abby, you have a good point there.

i.e moses baskets, you could pick one up for £5 from a boot sale and just buy a new matress for it ect.

you really dont need to spend a fortune.

im not getting a cot yet, im going to use a moses basket until the lil one gets abit bigger.

i picked up a steriliser for 50p from a jumble sale. bargain

you will need at least 7 sleep suits. a few hats, as babies loose heat through there heads, a car seat if the baby will be going in the car, bottles, pram, cotton wool, nappies. im just going to get the essentials for now, and i can always buy extra after the birth

I got a T.E.N.S Machine for 2quid.. workin n everythin from charity shop £49.99 in Mothercare where its from... i nearly fainted lmfao xx
