Hiya,
I'm about to embark on weaning, and need to know exactly what I'm going to need!

Things I know about:
HIgh Chair
Baby Spoons

Things i'm not too sure about:
Do I need bowls to start with?
Is the BEABACOOK unit any good, or is there a better alternative?
Do I have to sterilse everything?
How many freezer pots do I need?
What happens whn I go out - how long does the food stay fresh for - say defroseted carrot puree as an example?
What do I put the food in when I go out?

Any other useful items?

Thank you!!!

Things i'm not too sure about:
Do I need bowls to start with? I used bowls from the beginning to defrost and heat the food in, so yes!
Is the BEABACOOK unit any good, or is there a better alternative? I don't know if it is any good as I used a cheap electric steamer to cook things and a cheap hand blender to blend. I then reheated in the microwave.
Do I have to sterilse everything? I can't actually remember  I think that I sterilised spoons, but not bowls, although if I was putting the sterliser on I think I just chucked everything in!
How many freezer pots do I need? None to begin with I would just use ice cube trays - I bought some flexible ones from Tesco, froze the food in them, then took it out and put it in labelled freezer bags once it was frozen. That way you have the small portions that you need to begin with and then you can mix things easily.
What happens whn I go out - how long does the food stay fresh for - say defroseted carrot puree as an example? I tended to use shop bought stuff when we went out as it was safer and I never knew the answer to this. We used the Ella's kitchen pouches as they are just pureed fruit and veg.
What do I put the food in when I go out? you can buy little food pots with lids
