what did you buy

Clothing wise I was wondering how much you all bought ready for the birth?

I dont want to buy to much cause I know I will be getting loads of stuff from family & friends but I dont want to have to little in the first few days to week?

I've got 6 drawers full of things! I didn't think i had gotten a lot until i took everything out of the packets, washed it and went to put away! Most of it'll probably be given away anyways once LO is here so i can get pink or blue things, as all i've bought are neutral colours!

I think as long as you have plenty vests and baby gros that's all you really need!

I only bought vests and baby grows when Ellis was first born but it was the summer.

I am only just having to start buying him clothes.... 6-9 months as I had so many presents and hand me downs for the smaller clothes.

And to be honest, If i did it again i would only get baby grows again cos baby is so comfy in them... then after a few weeks when u venture out you can have your first shopping trip with LO and get LOADS of clothes if needed hehe

I have about 10 sleep suits and about 15 vests most from primark or ebay!!!! I will buy proper clothes once I know what flavour I have had! lol

Thats what I was thinking, 15 vests, 15 baby grows, 20 bibs, 5 scratch mittens/booties and 5 hats, 1 or 2 pram suits, 2 cardys/light jackets is that the sort of thing thats enough?

Then when its born and we know the sex and have accepted all our presents lol we can go out and buy proper clothes relevant to the sex (or knowing me ill be so tired I will have to order everyhting online lol)

I got so much stuff given its great cos they grow so fast in the 1st yr, i only bought a few outfits

I bought loads of stuff all in 0-3 months size and then had my LO 3 weeks early and my friend went and bought me tiny baby stuff. She is over 2 months now and still in newborn baby grows, I can't wait until she fits her real clothes. I would definitely buy the bare minimum and then see what size your baby is
