what are your opinions?

Me and hubby are totally disagreeing on names, we don't know what we're having yet, although everyone's convinced it's going to be a girl, I'd just like to know what you think of what we've got so far, any suggestions welcome.

For a boy I like Ralph (Anthony as a middle name)
Hubby likes Sebastian (James as a middle name) he only likes this so he can shorten it to 'Bash', my god!!

For a girl I like Talia (Rae as a middle name) I also like Ariana (Beau as a middle name)
Hubby likes Tillie (Rae as a middle name) and doesn't seem to be budging, I just think it's too much of a cats name haha - he's also just mentioned Natalia (Belle as a middle name), I know you can shorten it to 'Talia' but I don't like it haha. Am I just being hard work?

I like Sebastian best for a boy but not Bash!! Seb sounds better. Girls names I like all that you've mentioned - I get what you mean about Tillie being a cats name, was never on our list as we have a cat called billy! Ariana is a beautiful name and I bit more unusual. Good luck choosing xx

Oh don't, god knows where the Bash has come from, horrendous!! Haha. I'm definitely talking him out of it. Just finding it so hard with every name, associating it with something or someone in some way. We'll get there eventually I'm sure haha, thank you hun xx

Bash lol. What are men like. My OH has come up with the name Diego he heard it in a football match. I told him we don't live in Spain and we are not Spanish why the hell would you want Diego lol. I like the name Tillie but I would spell it Tilly . A Guy at works daughter is Tilly I think it sounds lovely.

Diego, oh no. He's thrown so many strange names at me, I haven't a clue where he's heard half of them. I really don't like Tillie, Claire. Every time I hear it, cats pop into my head. I love Lulu for a girl but no one else is with me on that one haha xx

You could use Tillie as a nickname for Talia.

Not a fan of Ralph to be honest but like Sebastian. Think it's a nice upper class name. My bestie has a baby called Sebastian and she shortens it to Seb and Sebbie which is very cute.
Talia and Ariana are both gorgeous names.
I hate Tillie just because it's SO common at the moment and I used to work in a very chavvy nursery with lots of very chavvy parents bringing their little girls called Tilly lol
I like Natalia a lot, although prefer Natalya as the spelling.
I don't think you're being difficult at all. It's your child's name, has to be something you are really happy with

Wow men have some very strange name choices. My man was adamant he wanted to call our baby 'Luxor' or 'Phoenix' or 'Axl'. Managea to appease him with Phoenix as a middle name if a boy...thank god she's a girl and we agreed on the name immediately.

I think both Ralph and Sebastian are frickin adorable, I think I prefer Ralph but not enough to be sure...might have to suggest Ralph if I ever have a boy as it's really pulling my heart strings x

I'm not a fan of girl names that begin with T for some reason... lol but really like Tilly, I work in a primary school as there aren't any I know of. Ariana is my fave of your girl names x

My friends wee one is called Arianna, and I love it! what about Alianna/Aileana? I seen that last night and really like it but dh said it sounded like alien..??!
I really don't like Ralph, sorry! And not too keen on Sebastian, although I used to love it, don't know why not so much now! I love Anthony though x

Well you should use a new name which must include initials of both the parents. That is my opinion.
