Mason Owen or possibly Mason Oliver?

Mason was a name that I suggested to DH at the very beginning of this pregnancy (along with countless others) and he fell in love with it instantly. I've always been kinda lukewarm about it, but it has recently grown on me. Finding a name for this poor baby has been almost impossible, and so I think I'm about ready to tell my DH he can have his little Mason.

What do you all think about it? What about the middle names? Our surname is Richter - which do you think sounds better?

DH and I both like the name Owen a lot, but opted not to use it as a first name due to my cousin's little boy being an Owen. Oliver is a name that I've always liked, DH is kinda iffy on it though. However, since he may be getting his choice of Mason, do you think I should hold Oliver over his head as payment? ;)

oh i very much like both. love mason and owen and together they are great. xxx

Ohhh i LOVE Mason, its number one on my list for our little boy but OH isnt 100% yet. I like Mason Oliver out of the 2. x

Thank you! I'm thinking about sending DH a text with the news as I don't want to deal with his potential gloating later on ;)

Love the name Owen, it's my fave for a boy at the moment and Mason is nice too, my Nephew is called Mason x

Yeah, it really is a shame about our little cousin being named Owen - DH and I would have agreed on that name AGES ago if not the case.

I don't know about you all, but I have found boy names so much more difficult than girls. Before we found out what we were having, we had already agreed on a girl name - figures that wouldnt be what we're having! ;)

ooh love Mason , and I prefer Oliver as Mason and Owen, sound the same ending if you know what I mean, but both are nice too

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I probably said the name 30 times in a row last night, and that was the conclusion I came to as well. Also, it seems a little odd to have 3 2-syllable names in a row. I'm thinking either a 1 or 3 syllable middle name would flow better.

I tossed out my middle name suggestion to DH last night before bed, and he said it's "alright".....there may be hope!
