What a horrid week

I've been quite anxious during this pregnancy, this would be my third pregnancy, I'm a very proud mummy to a gorgeous nearly 3yo daughter and sadly had a mc in january😢
So as you can imagine this rainbow baby is very special. However Tuesday I started spotting on and off with some right sided pain, my trust don't scan unless the symptoms worsen and up until today things have remained the same.
Whilst out for a family lunch today I took really unwell, vomiting, dihorrea and extreme right sided pain!
Taken into the epu as they were worried for ectopic, however very very happily hubby and I met our 7+2 week peanut and all is fine with pregnancy, the bad news is they think I have appendicitis, now being kept overnight on a drip, had some morphine and anti sickness awaiting blood results to see what the score is!
Hoping and praying I don't need surgery as it poses risks to my buba!
Sorry for rant, just wondered if anyone else has had anything similar or if anyone had surgery whilst pregnant to put my mind at ease a wee bit

Ooh no. How crappy!!

Fingers crossed, everything subsides and you can escape surgery, hope you're feeling better real soon xxx

I had something similar when I was taken to A&E with what I thought might be an ectopic. the doctors then thought I had appendicitis but it turned out the pain was being caused by a severe kidney infection and a large ovarian cyst.

It's very scary so I do feel for you and I really hope that it turns out that you don't need an op.

Poor you! Hopin it's nothin too serious an you can avoid surgery. Take care xx
