:wall2:Well, after 6 months and STILL no AF I finally went to the docs to see if somethig's wrong.

She made me an appointment to give bloods, to test my thyroid, hormones and blood count - so I went and got that sorted on Thursday. Will get the results for that at the end of the week

I've got to go back to her on 20th July so that she can arrange referal to a gynecologist to check what's going on. I told her that I want to start TTC within the next 6-12 months.

She said normally they wouldnt make a referral until they had ascertained that there were fertility issues, but she's concerned that I've not had a period at all.

I'm panicking now that this is the part where I find my body is completely broken and I'm totally infertile or something

:ug: Best of luck for your results hun xxxx

I am also wishing you the best of luck. Perhaps this not having a period is just a temporarely thing let's hope its nothing serious.

hope the results come back ok chick and that the doc can get to the bottom of your missing periods  xx

Thanks girls, well my thyroid and blood came back as normal. My hormone ones only arrived this morning and hadn't been checked so I have to phone back tomoro morning for the results of those - they are the ones that I'm worried about.

 I hope that they find a reason for you and that it can be easily fixed so you and OH can get on with TTC when he gets back.

I can't really remember. I started on the Pill when I was 15 and my af's only started when I was 14 I think so I only really had a years worth. I can't remember being concerned about them at the time, and I my mum says she cant remember me saying anything about it so I'm presuming they were OK. I def do remember having some though x

Clomiphene is supposedly something that could help. Maybe foolishly i've been looking this up online and there's a condition called post-pill amenorrhea. It sounds exactly like what has happened to me.

Hey - hope you got the results that you wanted and if not a resolution for your missing AF

Well my reproductive hormones came back satisfactory so that's good, only my diet boosts hormone levels so I'm not sure if it's thrown them out slightly but doesn't account for 5 months previous of no AF. So will just have to go fir my referral appointment now I guess!

Well least some answers are coming back. My friend took a tablet every month for a few months to make her AF come and now they are pretty regular. I hope they can fix your cycle  xx
