Has anyone had any success with these?

My husband is having his vasectomy reversed in about 8 weeks and I was wondering whether it’d be beneficial for him to start these.

Thanks in advance:)

Well we are a couple that despite the fact that this is our 2nd pregnancy ( my 1st is from a different partner ), we always struggle to conceive. It took us a long time with our previous pregnancy and this time wasnt easy either. However both times, my husband took Wellman Conception, probably starting from about half way through the ttc journey. So I really don't know whether its a coincidence or they really helped but we fell pregnant twice a few months after he d start taking them.

My husband has gone on these and it's having a very good effect on quantity produced.

My husband takes these. Although I haven’t got pregnant yet, we’ve had tests done and his results came back above average. However he does have a good diet and exercises regularly too which helps.

Thank you for the replies, do you think it’d be an idea to start them now or wait until he’s had the reversal?

It takes a while to have an effect and I don't see why it would matter taking them before...might be a good idea to ask his doctor though. x

Yes that’s a point, I’ll email Monday morning to find out.

I had my husband on these for a few months and got a bfp. However I also had surgery and got pregnant month after that.

I’ve just bought some pregnacare for myself :o I know his reversal isn’t for 8 weeks and there’s no guarantee that it’ll work but what the heck :)

I took pregnacare but stopped taking them because I’d started spotting before periods and after googling it, it seemed to be a chance that pregnacare was the cause as I’d never spotted before. However, I stopped taking them last September and i still spot occasionally before periods so im assuming it was just a coincidence. Decided tonight that I’m gonna start taking them again - well at least use what I have left, as they were so expensive! Then I’ll go back to my folic acid and vitamin d again!

If there's no other reason not to then I would start sooner as they will take roughly 3 months to have an effect. My OH did take the Wellman and his sperm function did improve though he did do a lot of other things as well. We did switch to Tesco's own his and hers conception after a while as they had almost the same ingredients and were so much cheaper. Some ladies do report changes to their cycles after taking Pregnacare but I had no issues.

We’ll I’ve spoken to Mr Harriss’ secretary this morning, she’s asked him about the wellman conception and apparently he sees no harm in starting them straight away.

I’ve just had a little trip to Tesco to buy them.

I’ve been taking pregnacare for 6 days now, AF is due shortly so we will see if they have an impact on my cycle. At the moment I’m not really sure how long my cycle is or when I’m due exactly, I’m desperate for AF to arrive now so that I can start keeping track.
