Weird pain under boob!

Hi all

Been meaning to post about this for ages as been getting this pain since about week 19....

Get this really horrible stinging pain over my ribs on the left hand side just under my boob, and it lasts for hours. Actually is there most of the time. Have asked the midwife about it a couple of times but she doesn't seem to think its pregnancy related as when it started baby would have been nowhere near that area, but seems strange to me its only come on in pregnancy and is getting much worse the more pregnant I get. GP just fobbed me off about it, but it really hurts!

Not sure if it could be muscles stretching, or my uterus shoving everything up?? Any ideas?

I had a pain under my boob on the right side for weeks and weeks on end. Cant remember when it started but think it was baby pushing everything up. Now my baby has engaged it has stopped so think it was definitely baby related and nothing to worry about. Just uncomfortable. Hope it gets better soon x

Yep, had this for weeks and it's only just gone away. Really felt like the skin itself was burning and it helped to put cool things on it, don't know if it's the same with you?
I had to stop wearing bras cos I felt they made it worse too.
Never figured out what it was tbh, just glad it's gone!!! Hope you don't have it too much longer hun x

I do remember that when it came to sleeping, I had to get a maternity pillow in the end and it REALLY helped, couldn't have slept on my side without it!

Glad I'm not the only one with this - I knew it was pregnancy related whatever they said!

I had it where my bra sat. So I just stopped wearing one for a while, it was a burning sensation too. It's gone now, and I have bras without underwire that make it easier x

I have it under right boob n it is very painful, baby keeps settling around there n think he is just making me sore. It actually feels inside like a burn n the outside is numb but midwife just said it was baby. I wouldnt worry xxx
