I know I've just had a baby but I am upset :(.

I weighed 61kg at my 9 week appointment, I never managed to weigh myself at 9 months but yesterday at my 6 week check up I was still 69kg :( I am so upset I thought I would have lost most of it, I don't feel like I've put on too much I was all bump during pregnancy, my pre pregnancy jeans are really tight I can't breathe with them on so I don't bother wearing them, but how am I going to shift 10 or 11kg while breastfeeding? Ideally I want to be 58kg.

I am always hungry (I blame the breastfeeding) I try to eat sensibly but have chocolate and sweet cravings all the time! I want to tone my body as well but have been advised against sit ups because I had a c section, I walk with my baby in the pram sometimes but the weather doesn't help...anyone got any advice how to shift this weight from your own experience? And how long did it take?
 
My weight has been coming off slowly and gradually since I had Aaron 6 months ago- I reckon I've lost about 3 stone to date.

It takes 9 months to put on the weight, so will probably take as much, if not more to take it off.

Expect your body shape to be different too x
 
I am not sure about kg's Zal, but I put on loads when I was preggers.

I lost just a stone after having baby and actually gained about 5lbs between having baby and January (I blame Crimbo and back then I was expressing still)

I am still now 2 and a half stone over my ideal weight.

I am only now just getting into the swing of healthy eating again. Having a baby made cooking / choosing healthy snacks difficult for me as I would just grab whatever was nearest to hand...

Don't be too hard on yourself hun, it will come off in time!

It will come off in time lovely. I am still about 3/4kg from my booking in appointment weigh in and I've just been loosing it gradually. I can fit into my pre pregnancy size 12 jeans but can't seem to fit into new size 12, my hips have defiantly changed shape.
Enjoy being a mummy your baby is still so young so don't be so hard on yourself x
 
Thanks for the replies, definitely has made me feel better about it all. I just hope I don't put anymore weight on its the snacks that are killing me! What are some healthy snacks, anyone know? Xx
 
I still have about 1.5 stone to lose and it feels like it'll never go :( But I know it will eventually!

Healthy snacks? Fruit, carrot sticks, hand full of nuts, those sorts of things are all good :)
