Hello ladies..

Just weighted myself and I have only put on 2lbs in the 14 weeks....

is that about right?

i actually look as if i have lost weight in some areas so i am guessing that any gain is in tummy and baby area obviously he he...and my huge boobies!!!

i am actually quite pleased i have not put loads on...:)

xx

I've tried to avoid the scales but when I weighed myself at 16 weeks I had put on less than a kg - I don't remember what it is in lb but I would say its completely normal!

I know I'm starting to pile on the pounds now so I'm avoiding the scales again!

i don't mind putting weight on but.....i started with a high bmi and so just wanting to keep an eye on it really. so that i don't become high risk or at risk of diabetes or anything....

so far so good i think xx

From 13 weeks to now I've only put on 2lbs. Not sure if it's ok. Feel like I've put on more.xx

I lost ten pounds at first and at almost 19 weeks ive only put 6 of those back on. So im still lighter than i started and its only gone on my bump. Dont worry its normal not to put much on or to lose it at first. It all depends on your size to start with too xx

i have put on about half a stone lol, but i always find it easy to lose weight I only weigh about 11 1/2 stone so thats not too bad screw my BMI its only bout 27 and i look a good weight even MW said it was stupid as i dont look overweight yet that silly little chart tells me i am fat!!!!

I never weigh myself if I can help it. I know it'll throw me in the pits of despair!

BMI charts are stupid arent they? I was overweight when i was a size 8/10 (a while ago now, lol) according to it, there wasnt an ounce of fat on me, im just a heavy person and with DD/E boobs they contribute a lot! Lol x

they don't take boobs into account do they!!xx

according to a couple of books I have read, you sound about right: you shouldn't put any weight on in the first 12 weeks. After 12 weeks you should put on about 1 pound a week.
I mentioned this to my midwife tho and she said they dont weigh pg ladies: as long as your baby is measuring properly they arent concerned. They just weigh you at your booking in appointment to get your BMI and then at your 36 week check up, again just to get your BMI to compare it. I think I have put on about 8-9 pounds although I havent weighed myself in 2 weeks and the amount of Cornettos I have eaten in that time .... lol!

i dont think ive put anything on, my mum thinks my arms and rib area have shrank... dont really care and im not gonna start worrying about it now lol

my rib area has shrunk too.....it's not that i care if i put weight on, it's not a vanity thing cos i have never been skinny....i just want to try and stay in the healthy weight increase range for boo boo....i'm already in the obese category as far as bmi is concerned...but am currently low risk, hopefully i can keep a check on it and stay low risk

was actually worrying that 2lbs was not enough to put on! :) but sounds like i am okay

this, i didnt gain much until 15 weeks and I havnt weighed myself since it would upset me..

i dont weigh myself just for my own sanity, but i reckon thats right with baby growing all the time x

god iv put on at least a stone if not more which is very surprising given how sick iv been but im not gonna worry till bubs is born then il happily freak out

I've probably put on about a stone Last time i weighed myself i was 10lbs heavier! and that was 2 weeks ago!

I've put on 5 lb between my BFP (at 4 weeks) and now (17 weeks).
