wee samples!

36+3 today and just tried to do a wee sample for midwife appt and literally cant catch it in the bottle as bump is in the way for me to see anything! Anyone else struggling? ??? How much wee do they need in the bottle?

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. The only sample bottle I could get was absolutely tiny/very narrow and I only got about 5mls in there. Thankfully it didn't make a difference, they only need a small amount to dip the stick into

i bought a plastic jug to pee into and then use that to fill the pots, otherwise the bigger you get the more you get whizz everywhere!!

Lol wish mine would haha! Will start using a jug. I never had this issue first time lol.

Our hospital gives you a polystyrene drinking cup to use.... Handy because you can squash them a bit to make a nice pouring spout

I only ever manage to get a few ml in these pots now as have same issue but they only need a tiny amount for test anyway Your other option is to ask surgery for some spare sample pots to take home and invest in a funnel, do your wee at home just before appointment - put funnel in pot, pee into funnel and voila lol x

Towards the end I did mine at home, because I knew that everyday when I went in Id need to get a sample tub and do it anyway.

Ours had a help yourself big tub at reception LOL.
