Yeah it's gone SO fast!! We only got engaged in May so it's been a busy few months planning but we're doing well so far.

Every time I think about it I could pee with excitement. Just can't wait to say "I do"

Ah we got engaged in May too

Oh isn't it great :-) love it he he

Are u having a big do? X

BabyDust *****

Yeah it's flippin' brilliant. I'm on top of the world, I really am.

We're having a stupidly big do - 160 day, 200 night. We both have large families so that put it at around 100 before we even thought about friends. Didn't think it'd be this big until we put pen to paper and wrote the actual list!

How about you?

Lol I'm not the only one with a crazy big smile on my face then lol ;-)

Wowsers nice and big he he ah it'll be fun it's hard though isn't it!!

Ours is about 85 day up to 150 night

We r ttc so not against kids but have said no kids apart from family as all our friends have millions & it's bloody expensive lol! X

No, you're definitely not!

Yeah, it's really hard. We've had so much hassle from guests moaning about why they haven't got a plus one - one in particular whose gf we found out is trying to recruit other people's gfs to gatecrash the wedding! We didn't know until this weekend, but there's been a massive fall-out between our friends who have been invited and one girl in particular who thinks it's her right to attend despite the fact we've met her once. Nightmare!

The kids at ours will range from 3 months old right up to 16/17 - think there are about 15 of the pesky little blighters! We have drawn the line with friends' children but have loads of children in the family and we're very much a family-comes-first kinda couple. Neither of us could imagine having a child-free wedding.

It's been an absolute breeze to organise the stuff that no-one else needs to know about though - venue, food, stationery, transport, flowers, etc, etc... all dead easy - it's the guests that have been the main issue. We've already done our table plan as we thought it'd be a nightmare, but it's been fine really because no-one needs to know :)

Omg! I can't believe the cheek of that girl !! What did u do??

X

Yeah our family children are there it's just too many friends children lol x

Glad it's going smoothly it makes it so much more exciting :-) ours is good so far venue caterers hotel booked etc

Just not sure on what to do for my big bridesmaids outfits x

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't go ahead with her plan. To make things worse, we saw her the other day at a party and she was so p1ssed she was just really rude. Ooooh... yeah can't wait to include you in our big day. Idiot. Trying not to think about her.

There are loads of options for bridesmaids and you have plenty of time, so I'm sure you'll find something amazing. We chose our bridesmaids dresses this weekend actually - they're a red-ish/plumy colour (full-length) with a couple of little patches of bling. I was only with 1 bridesmaid at the time, so going to get the other bridesmaids to try them on and then order them online. How many do you have? Are you thinking high-street or bridal stores?

What an idiot !!

Ah the dresses sound cute ! Where r you getting them from? I'm trying to keep cost down and get them online I have two big bridesmaids aged 31 and 26 and then 9 and 3 and I love yellow but my older girls are blonde / fair and I'm worried it will be pale against them lol

I want to have lots of different colours in my flowers so gerbras in hot pink, purple etc and sunflowers and greens xx

Oooh no I think blonde/fair hair can really suit yellow. My best mate is blonde and she wears a lot of yellow - she also had a lot in her (September) wedding colour scheme - looked gorgeous. If you love it, then go for it! I'm a brunette and just look like a Simpson in yellow - just can't wear it! Love the idea of those bright colours - that would've been my style if we'd had a spring wedding.

We're getting ours from House of Fraser. It's this (in aubergine) http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/JS+C...er+Embelished+Dress/184512022,default,pd.html

This was our absolute max budget-wise, but they're wearing their own shoes as you won't see them anyway, so that'll save money. Have you tried a site called lightinthebox? My friend wore a bridesmaid dress from here for her friend's wedding and she said they were great. We were a little worried about ordering online like this due to our timescales - thought it'd be too risky if things needed sending back, etc but we'd have had a closer look if we had more time to plan. Might be worth considering?

Lol a simpson ey bless you lol I may get the girls to try some on then as I really love it and there are some super cute dresses about

that dress is beautiful really love it, great style too with the bling on the side. I am getting the dress and their hair but girls will get their make up and shoes as it all adds up ! oh I will have a look and see thanks
