Can any one help
am looking for nice closed toed wedding shoes for my wedding in june. Everything ihave found has been £30 or more and am trying to find a cheepish pair as i will only wear them one day and nobody will see them under my dress.
If any one can help it will be greatly appreciated
Pam xx

I like the pink ones Emmylou (obviously in ivory tho) and the court shoes with diamonte i love them pity they are £65 but their way out of my budget (i appear to have expensive taste) lol. My friend got her shoes last year from BHS for £8 in january sales and when i went they where all expensive :(
and never thought of looking on ebay for shoes might give it ago. thanks girls.
Am loving the idea of the wedding day but hate all the planning still need to get the flower girls dress and all the bridesmaids shoes and accessories and something sexy underwear to fit me which is proving a problem as well (34f and size 12 waist and need it strappless)

the wedding night best be worth this stress :rotfl:

I did all my wedding shopping on ebay
I got my dream day tho and managed to save pennys on the way :cheer:

Am just looking on ebay now Feefeethey have got some great stuff and just realised that i havent even thought of party favours but there is a person selling nothing but party favours and they look great. I need to save as many pennies as i can as my o/h has announced he has lent his sis £2000 out of our wedding fund and it seems were not going to get it back  (but its ok i will not be stressed) so our over all budget is £9000 now the venue and cateres are booked and the photogropher and my dress is paid for, so if we can save on the little things like brides maids accessories and party favours (and my shoes and underwear) then i will be a happy bunny.

CRIKEY

My wedding cost me about 3k all in including my actual wedding and reception at a hotel AND a party "back home" for all my friends who couldnt make the wedding
And i had my dress bespoke made :D

I got mine from a wedding shop and i think i got one of the cheapest pairs because u couldnt see them at all for my dress so didnt want to go to too much expense for something no one was going to see think they was about 30 quid.

If you've already got a pair of shoes that are suitable, comfy etc why not get them dyed???? you can have them exact colour you want and dont have to 'wear' them in.

My sister made her favours, bought all the stuff she needed plus bits to make table decorations etc then invited us round one evening and we had great fun making them up and doing the table arrangements etc, few glasses of wine and a curry as well.

just a thought

Hope you have a fantastic day

When do you need them for? I know barrets bring out a wedding range in the summer, and they aren't too pricey

try new look, i went to a wedding and the bride wore, stilhettos, silver glittery ones, i wouldnt have thought to do that!

i got my shoes from a little shop where im from, i had to have proper wedding shoes coz i had mine dyed red as along the bottom of my dress was red!!

I couldn't find any white ones for my wedding in my size, so I bought some in cream and then took them to be dyed.

They turned out really nice :)

i got mine from bhs , im not a shoe fan , find them really uncomfy , but these where great ! my wedding too only cost 3-4 k

everyting else was on ebay , part from the mens suits they costed a bomb!

Thanks so much for your help you are all really great.

Ihave found a pair of shoes on ebay from somebodies shop they are new and only cost £5 I just hope i win them hehe If not I think i will use the idea of dying them its a good one  , and i bought my tiara from quarters (i think that is what its called) It was £3 So i have save £130 so far from my accesories budget. I love the idea of having my friends round to make the wedding favours and so far 3 others have agreed to help me.
Am gonna check that website out now skatty see if there is anything that could make him go va va voom on the wedding night.
Oh is giving me a hard time about the budget and i have just tokd him how much ihave saved this weeked and he is suitable put in his place,
So far I have saved
£250 on wedding cake by getting my friends mother in law in to making it ( i am giving her my two rugby tickets to auction of for charity and she is making me a cake for free)
£200 on flowers my friend does it as a hobby and is doing mine just for the cost of flowers as a present
£130 on my accesories
£145 on transport (he is arriving by a jag which is my friends uncles car and that means the brides car only does one trip so it is £130 rather than £275

Thanks so much for your help only 20 weeks left to the wedding so am sure you will see a few more rants from me
Thanks again
Pam

For party favoursI went to Woolworths and bought a load of mini tubes of love hearts from the pick n mix (about £2 worth) and wrapped each tube with a ribbon!

Just an idea for you!
