Wedding ring

I woke this morning and my hand really hurt, I noticed my finger was swollen around my engagement and wedding ring. I managed to remove my engagement ring after freezing my hand and using washing up liquid and a lot of elbow grease. But my finger has since got worse and I can't get my wedding ring to budge. I've tried string, ribbon,oil and everything else sloppy you can imagine. Any other tips before I have to get it cut off If not, has anybody had to have there's cut off? Is it expensive to fix?? X

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful but have you tried elevating your hand as well as cooling it? Is it worth trying later after giving it a bit of time or is it too swollen? Just thinking that if you struggled for a while to get the engagement ring off it may have got even more swollen. Hope you don't need to cut it off.

It ended up getting really swollen and I had to go to a&e to get the ring cut off Gutted! They think it was an allergic reaction to something Xx

So sorry to hear that - but are you okay now?
I know it's gutting that your ring was cut off but at least that can be replaced you are more important.

Will you be able to fix your ring or is it completely gone?
