Not getting married till 2015.. possibly '16 depending on the total cost..

but ive found my venue!!! :)
Going to speak to them next week to c how many yrs in advance we can book.

As im not religous i dnt want a traditional church wedding.
im thinking a gorgeous country house.
Living in wales there is plenty but costly gorgeous venues.

BUT ive found it.. :) getting very excited already and so is my mum hehe!!
Keeps my mind off ttc and symptom spotting lol.
I have my engagement party next month alsoooo!! :) :) just a few bits left to do for that.

pointless thread but a tad excited for the future.. hopfully a lil baby and a wedding!!! xx

I wouldn't book that far in advance tbh, purely because venues change hands, licenses change etc, bookings get lost/forgotten in such a long time. I'd keep the place in mind and then book closer to the time.

I don't think they'd do more than 2-3 years in advance as well, especially as you can't book Registrars more than 1 year beforehand.

 It's lovely to hear you so excited!

I would disagree and say get pencilled in- when we got married I wanted Easter weekend and three years in advance was still booked up so I changed my date. If you know what you want and when in the year, get pencilled in.

we booked 2 years in advance but that's the earliest they would do. just check your contract really well for any problem that could arise in that space of time, ie, new owners being able to cancel bookings made prior to the sale.

Sent from my shit hot phone! Fo shizzle home girls.

Where in wales are you? We got married at the Barn at Brynich, lovely location near Brecon. Not quite a stately home though :) x
