Weaning

Just to add, i didnt give raw carrot and pieces of raw apple until dd was very advanced in weaning as i felt they were quite a choking hazard, i found the safest way to give an apple whole. I always halved grapes and cherry tomatoes and i did squish blueberries to start with. I had to have nerves of steel when we did grapes, very gaggy and my friend panicked and kept trying to take them out her mouth! Not a good move but when she saw how calm i was she was amazed that my little girl was eating grapes.
We only gave dinner to start with as this fitted in well, then she staeted to skip milk at lunchtime so i just gave her lunch. We didnt do breakfast for quite a while but it was all led by her.

Yes, i'll add the carrot sticks were cooked! Obviously with finger foods at such a young age the food has to be soft or something that can dissolve in the mouth - like toast or bread.

also doing sticks of fruit and veg (bveg cooked) she loves her carrot sticks and pieces of cucumber...tried cherry tomatoes but think the larger ones diced are better...she had some slices of sausage today and some scrambled egg...doing combo BLW and spoon fed...

How soon after milk feeds are ppl doing solids? in the morning do brekkiie straight after bottle but lunch and tea are usually 30mins-1hr after...this then means she is going on average 3-4hrs between milk feeds and still taking four bottles...but more and more im finding it all a bit rushged at end of the day 3pm bottle, 3.30 tea, 5.30 bottle and consequently she doesnt drink all of it but wouldnt dare put her to bed without bedtime bottle...when did people drop a midday bottle? how do you know its time? I once did a 2hr gap between bottle then meal and that was too long...frustrated eater or what lol...
