How do you know when your baby is ready? my daughter was so easy she waited till 6 months and i started feeding her but colbi is being a pain in the bum lol hes 5 months in 3days and for about 2 weeks hes been waking in night, and the last week hes only been having little 30min naps in day, hes grumpy at night and dont want to sleep but is clearly knackered yet during day hes so happy yet clingy. he watches me eat and smiles, he even pretended to eat a biscuit out my hand that id already finished but he`d been watching how i was eatin it, i dont know if i should just try some banana and see if he takes it if not leave it? x

we have started giving Toby vegetable sticks at our tea time as he was really interested in our food and trying to grab it... am thinking that by 6 months he may be eatting it rather than playing, but it keeps him entertained if nothing else atm x

i gave colbi a baby spoon last night at dinner and he put it straight in his mouth the right way but then he bit it n it really hurt him so i took it away n then after that when he looked at me he just burst into tears, think he wanted the spoon back lol i just had a banana and put a tiny bit on my finger and put it on his tongue and he loved the taste so im thinking hes ready :( x

Seb's 14 weeks tomorrow and I started giving him banana mashed up with his milk this week. He's been showing he's ready for a couple of weeks, taking intense interest in us when we eat, grabbing at the food and plates and finally making 'eating' movements with his mouth. He's loving the one bit of food we give him x
