How do you do it? Charlie doesn't like them, they also seem to irritate his teeth.. he's got various tommee tippee ones none of which he will drink from for more than 3 seconds x

I didn't have any trouble at all with Jack! He started drinking water from his beaker at 3 months old!! He had Nuby beakers at first because the teat is nice & soft. He now has 2 Mickey Mouse Nuk ones that he loves!!

It's pretty hard with most babies but keep perservering and he'll get there x

I'm trying a Tommee Tippee explora with Angel and all she wants to do is chew on it so I have to stop her. The teat is rubbery and very hard so I might try and find one which is softer for her xx.

We tried the tommy tippee but savannah didn't like it.

We use the Nuby ones too now and she loves them... They are much easier for her. They are on offer in sainsbury at the moment.

Could I try Tyler with a EBM beaker? He refuses a bottle. Is he too little?

Is it the grip and sip cup? Just looked online then, does it have a soft teat? X

We started giving S a beaker at 4 months but only for a drink we still gave her milk from a bottle so idk. Does anyone else use a beaker for milk?

I tried his with an oz of milk... awww look at little Jack wgat a cutie! X

Aww thanks ladies! Yes thats the one, sip & grip! Never knew what they were called lol.

Hayley, Jack went through a stage at 5 months of prefering drinking his milk from his beaker rather than his bottle so we bought 5!! His phase only last 2 weeks and he's now drinking milk from a bottle again lol x

hmm interesting... Savannah is starting to fuss with her bottles. We have changed teats buts shes still not always interested. Maybe I will try her milk in a beaker and see how she gets along.

Charlie gets this, i think tbh hes bored of milk, so ilas hes nearly six months ive started him on baby food and he drinks lots of it, mainly cause hes thirsty mainly cause if he drinks more i give him a spoonful of food haha! Sometimes he only has half though...also, he doesnt apways like to be held and prefers to sit in the corner of the couch abd drink it, in fact he only wants a cuddle at bedtime drinks :( unlovedddd x

Yeah when we started weaning savannah she instantly became less interested in milk and i think its kind of stuck with her. She just doesn't really want it. She will have a 7oz bottle before breakfast because shes hungriest when she wakes up one in between lunch and tea at about 2 but only usually has 4 oz or so and has one after tea but again only has 3 to 4 oz.

I guess food is just yummier than milk. I tend to try to mix a built of milk in with her food where i can to bulk it up a bit.

Maybe i will try not to cuddle her too much in the day and see if that helps too :)

Charlies not a cuddly baby, he prefers to be off playing mooching about, god help me when he starts crawling! Maybe give her dairy in another way like yoghurt or cheese? I dont know if she is old enough though? I havent given charlie yoghurt yet x
