Moulis are the BEST invention ever - I've just got a cheapie metal thing, but it gets the food perfectly smooth and leaves behind things like fruit skin and anything too stringy.
Bread / Meat both fine after 6 months. Apparently you're meant to avoid wheat gluten until 6 months just because of possible gluten intolerance.
You can have a lot of fun with vegetables though and you can add spices to make them tastier - e.g. cinnamon - the AK book is full of suggestions. Maddie's favourites were sweet potato & courgette, and pear and avocado (she still loves the pear and avocado now).
