We cant agree on anything

Hiya

I know its early days but i have been thinking about names and we cant decide on anything.

I really like Romey for a girl but DH hates he says its chavvy, i also liked Isobel, and Lacey but he hates them too.

DH likes Freddie for a boy and says this is what we are calling bubs if its a boy no questions asked, i like it but not sure if i like it enough to have it as a name.

I really dont know what to do i cant see us agreeing on anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions our surname is Gallant so it would have to go with that. It would also be nice if it went with Brooke and Olivia

my boyf and i had the exact same problem- i HATED the baby-names choosing SO MUCH- it was SUCH a CHORE!!!

we FINALLY agreed on her name when i was 35 or 36 weeks pregnant- it was my suggestion- and to my utter absolute suprise my boyf said "i like it actually, thats nice!"

so dont worry too much- si know some girls on here whose babies didnt have names until a few weeks after they were born!

Me too! It done my head in! We didn't name Amber until she was 4 weeks old, and for the first 3 weeks of her life she was called Chloe until the day before we registered her and I suddenly changed my mind!

Me & my OH can't agree on any names this time either. I like your choice of girl's name, especially Isobel. Maybe you can persuade him to let you have that?!

With Olivia we had the same problem, untill i came up with Olivia and then i said something about my nanna (she is called Grace) and rob said ooo i like that Olivia-Grace and that if we have a girl and that was that. Maybe the same will happen this time but i cant see it, my DH can be very stubborn and strong minded lol

It will prob be easier in jan when we have our scan and find out what we are having, we will only have either a boys or a girls name to argue over then lol

Trix i agree with you, choosing the name is the hardest part.

Charlie...girl or boy so charlotte or charlie..i dunno ignore me..that just sprang to mind i dont know why! lol!
i never agreed with my ex on any names we decided Hayden near the end and stuck with it because its the only one we agreed on!! lol
