We baby danced for fun today :)

Just what the title says really. It was a novel experience baby dancing for fun after so much focus on fertile periods. I don't think I even ovulated this month and I would be past that window anyway. We have both been working hard and going to the gym more as well so been busy but it was lovely to take some time out to just be 'together' like when we were on honeymoon period we have our second date night on Thursday as well and I can really recommend them I wish we had done then sooner!

What are other people's experience of spending quality time together? Any advice for us on how to keep things fresh?

It is good to hear you had the Honeymoon feeling again
I find it is always a good thing taking that little break and being able to have some fun without thinking about TTC.

I am in a same sex relationship, so all of our Bedroom Dancing isn't Baby Dancing unless we have a donation.
So unfortunately I don't really have any advice. But I hope your next date night is as good as this one

Aww, how lovely.

I'm not really the best one to talk with my stupidly short cycles and spotting (that means every time we BDed was in my window lol). But a few times we have gone away and 'forgotten'. Different positions? Simply taking your time rather doing it to get the job done? Oral? (Which is a definite no no with TTC)

Groupon and Wowcher have some great deals if you fancy booking a couple of days away. I can totally recommend The Crown at Hopton https://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/ga-the-crown-at-hopton-accommodation which is always on one of those sites. We went for three nights - you need to drive though. X

I agree it's hard to keep it fresh. When I'm not in my FW we tend to do other sexual things like oral so we're not just focusing on BD'ing.

Date nights are a really good idea. We went for a meal and cinema not long ago, we hadn't done that in ages! x

We have a date night every other Saturday when J visits my mums for the night.

3 of us usually have a fam dinner on the Friday at the end of the month.

We always try have a cosy night on a Sat night with DVDs, but we do like to go out to eat every other week. Its lovely.

Love date nights! And with our first baby, we stopped ttc seriously as we were heading down the fertility route and waiting for our tests to start, we had a fun fumble and low and behold I got pregnant! That was after a year of trying! Good luck! Xxx
