Ok, this is a post way off topic!

Do any of you burn films (via BitTorrant) onto DVD. I know GGG does (yes hun, one I am trying to burn is Lost... ) but don't want to hassle her as I know she is busy working hard.

I have downloaded The Other Boleyn Girl and I want to burn it to disc...I have a DVD RW...what do I do now? I tried burning it from my Downloads in Documents, but nothing!

Help! :wall: :wall: :wall:

You need some burning software i.e nero or ashampoo buring studio you can get them from any torrent site i.e mininova.org i would say nero is the easy one to use and its easy to get . :D :D hope this helps

or you marry a computer geek and say... I want.... such and such... and all of sudden through the magic of the cave there is the whole series.. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: only its played through the computer attached to the TV from the computer in the cave through the magic of .... WIFI... oooooooooo ahhhhhhhhhhhhh :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I personally dont have a clue at all!!

However i asked Dave to do this for me last week and he put nero on my computer and downloaded some software which converts it from a file that'll only work (generally) on laptops, to one which should work in all DVD players. It works now and we can burn DVD's but the converter puts a thing over the picture saying you need to pay however much for it, however i have been informed that he can find a way to get around that too (typical) then i should be able to play my DVD's properly. It even put a menu on it which i was pretty impressed with lol!

basically it depends on the format of the file you downloaded...is it a .avi file? or a mpg? mpeg? or a img of a DVD?

Chances are it'll be .avi and you'll need a AVI converter to convert it to a proper DVD format. However some DVD players will play .avi files....so might be worth checking the spec of your DVD player!
