washing machine help please asap

weve been doing a load of alex stuff and they are coming out dirty, all mankyand grey, the silly thing hasd some mould in the rim where the door closes, iv tried cleaning it, what can i do to stop this, worried to use anything strong incase it irritates his skin??

long term putting a load through with a different laundry powder than your normal one once a week can hopefully prevent manky buildup.

Once every 7-10 days I put my machine on a boil wash with nothing but a capful of bleach in to clean it all.... maybe try that to clean it all out

see i wantedmto do that sarah but was worried bout the bleach irritating alex. God i just wish i could do it all myself lol, since i had alex the washer has done this, Gals blocked the sink and my house is a bomb site, its un believeable

awww... give yourself a break hun... Alex is only 4 days old!!!

The bleach,shouldnt irritate him as the machine rinces it out... if you are worried put it on again with nothing in it afterwards.

I agree with sarahH if your worried about his skin do a quick wash after with just nonbio and DONT worry about your messy house you have just had a baby!!!

Oh and big up the PF women I get slated by EVERYONE I know for washing my washing machine, I always thought I was the only one that did it!

if you but bleech in where do u put it?? like where u put the washing powder?? and is there not a chance that there will still be some in the next wash and it will bleech your washing?? ive just bought a new washer dryer and would like to keep on top of stuff like that!!!

wouldnt have thought it would matter hun, when ever you put a wash on it sprays into the drawer anyway

It is just a capful of bleach in to the drum and it gets all washed out so it is fine
