Thank you that was kind of you to look for me. They are still crazy prices though. Luckily problem is now solved as I'm renting one from a local cake shop for £1 a day (3 days so £3) - bargain!

Absolutely, and if I had more confidence in my ability to do this, I'd do it! I like the easy option of the shaped cake tin!

Can you try hiring one? We've got a cake shop near us that hires out their tins so might be cheaper than buying?
