Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates. I still think that would be seen as "naming and shaming" and would not stop threads being made about the person, or that person finding out what was said in the announcment and disagreeing with it.
I'm all for everything being out in the open, but I'm not sure having a thread would help. That would be all very well and good for the fakes that get caught out, but what about the ones that don't? Would people get into a comfort zone thinking everyone was genuine, thinking all fakes were found out straight away? It took 6 months to 'prove' Dani was faking - even now, people aren't sure about her. I think it's wise to be cautious with everyone - there is no black and white.

ok just leave it as it is, with it plastered all over the forum and people still talking to fakers on msn, if it wasnt for princess puddles seeing them pics people would still be talking to marylou and co on msn now...
The reason people are putting it all over the forum is because everyone is so angry about been kept in the dark, just put at the top of the locked thread any problems pm a mod, put it in the rules, if you stress this enough people should grasp the concept and not make up new threads about it, and if they do, deleate them, simple as....
If people are that sad to see it as a "hall of fame" then let them be that sad, who cares? and why not name and shame? if they have been lying or have caused trouble enough to be banned then surely they deserve nothing less than to be named and shamed...
or just do as jax said and set up something so you can send a pm to all the members in 1 go explaining the situation if someone is banned or faking.
or maybe it will show fakers that they get caught out in the end, it wont make them think they are getting away with it cause when they get banned they will go on the list.....anyway im off for my brekkie now
