Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'll introduce myself, I have a 3 year old and I've been waiting to try for number 2 for over a year.
Dh and I actually agreed to start trying over a year ago then he changed his mind! I was devastated to say the least. He said he might never want another one and I didn't know if I could agree to that. We have been through a lot over the past year, I've almost left him over it then came to my senses.
I got him to agree I'll come off the pill again before the end of next year. This is not what I had in mind in terms of age gaps of kids or even my age but I've accepted that its better than nothing.
I'm still struggling with the waiting. Most of my mum friends either have their second or are pregnant again. I'm a very maternal person and very broody.
Don't get me wrong I dearly love ds1 but I never Invisaged only having 1 child and I want him
To have a sibling.
I'm struggling knowing what to do about the wait, how often to raise it with him etc. I want to keep reminding him in a way to keep it in his mind but don't want to pressure him to much.
