Vitamin tablets-Weight Gain!

Hey!

Iv just started taking Evening Primrose Oil (for EWCM) and Agnus Castus (to regulate my periods) also take pregnacare conceive tablets.....does anyone who if any of these can cause weight gain?

Hi pink butterfly,

I also take AC to help regulate my cycles, but never heard it can help gain weight. It's a natural remedy so it shouldn't, I've not been taking it long but it certainly hasn't made me gain any weight yet.

I'm sure it'll be fine but let me know how you get on. If it helps with my cycles I'll be happy to be honest, will just have to work extra hard in the gym!

Yeah I agree but really dont want to put weight on! Suppose a little weight will be ok but thinking the more you put on the harder it might be to conceive...... will let you know what I find out hun, will do some searching tomorrow! x

I suppose it depends on your size already, I'm average weight so any weight gain shouldn't really affect me ttc.

But no I would rather not put weight on, want to be a health weight whilst ttc.

Im a little overweight but doctor said nothing to worry about so should be ok....am trying to loss a bit though, eating 5-8 fruit and veg a day and all that...nightmare! LOL x

I try & eat healthy, it lasts a week & goes out of the window!

If u start to put weight on just stop taking the tablets.

Hiya, I'm taking pregnacare and haven't gained any weight. In fact I've lost some. I think it's all related to my hormones levelling out after coming off the pill. I wouldn't worry about it xx

Think it was the Agnus Castus ones I read about, only when I had a quick look on the internet so might be wrong.....hope not as I really want to regulate my periods and I know they are supposed to be good at that so dont want to end up like a sumo wrestler! (hope no sumo wrestlers read this! ) x
