I know I'm supposed to take Folic Acid but what else should I be having? I keep hearing different things - Zinc/Calcium/Iron/Vitamins/Omega 3 etc?

Is there a good (and not too expensive) supplement I can take that has everything I need in it? I've been taking Folic Acid since BFP but not sure about the rest.

for folic acid and multivitamin... just take one-aday pregnacare tablets...

I'm TTC and have been taking Pregnacare too, mainly because I don't always get my 5 a day fruit & Veg.

It's personal choice, if you feel you eat a healthy and balanced diet then just take Folic Acid.

Charm X

i take sanotogen pronatal everyday but like the others have said if your diet is good you only need to take folic acid up until 12 weeks xx you'll be fine, are you stressing already!! like the rest of us there is always something to worry about try to take it easy xx

I take the asda pregnancy vitamins and folic acid every day. Dont think you need both but midwife didnt say nuffin!

I took folic acid TTCing for 18 months, when I got BFP I bought Pregnacare vits, they said t consult a doc before taking them when PG!! I took them to my midwife appointment and she said they werent necessary, just continue with folic acid till 14 weeks which I did and she said they would detect any deficencies with blood tests thoughout the rest of pregnancy. They were very expensive and I tried to take em back to Superdrug but they wouldnt refund money

I am drinking more milk than normal-I rarely drink it normally but am eating cereal or drinking a glass b4 bed xxxxxxx
