Does anyone give their toddler vitamin drops? My little one is 21 months old and was considering the drops as I don't think my little ones eats enough food at the moment to get all the vitamins and nutrients she needs but really unsure

Speak to HV - a lot of children's centres supply free or you can get them cheap

There's no harm in giving them if you think diet is not varied enough - it certainly won't harm. My son has 2 portions of fruit a day and 2 veg but still has the drops for good measure :)

I gave mine drops through the winter to try to combat all the illness they were picking up from nursery. Not given them any for a while, but it never hurts to boost their immune system. I'll probably start again next month.

I have two boys aged 4 and 2.5. Both of them have had vitamins everyday since they were 6 months old. I highly recommend giving them to little ones just to make sure they have the nutrients they may not get from their diets. HV's here also recommend them from 6 months now too. My eldest has a low immune system so has a chewy vitamin plus a chewy immunity tablet every day. My youngest has wellkid liquid but will swap to chewy ones when he's 3. We give them before breakfast every morning so it's just part of our daily routine now :)

My kids eat a pretty well balanced diet but I still give them a multi vitamin every day for my peace of mind - I think it has helps with immunity to coughs and colds etc as well as covering is on the days when my lo barely eats a thing. We use junior multi vitamins from Holland and Barrett which are suitable from age 2 and are tasty little teddy tablets - they never took to liquid or capsules and love their vitamin as part of bedtime routine.
