im not aware of any sites but on discovery home&health their is usually alot of birth storeis on there. if not try google for something

I was hooked to Discovery Home and Health!!
I'm sure the videos in the sticky"watch these amazing videos" shows the birth amongst everything else, they are well worth watching anyway! :D

ok, i watched a video myself, and i changed my mind, i'm not showing him that! it freaked ME out!
fuck. i cant do it! it looks really scary- what am i gonna do?!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I really would like my DH to be with me during labour, but I've always thought its better if they don't see the 'full monty'.

Its ok for some men as some can deal with it, but alot of men are really quite squeamish (more so than most women), and its just to much for them.

Also many men do see to find that they can't view you flower in quite the same light for a while...

Of course testosterone usually overcomes such negative thoughts eventually! :D

I have agreed with my DH that he should stay firmly above waistline, unless he really feels her wants to go have a closer look, then its his decision...

Please try not to panic!!Everyones pain threshold is different, and I swear that these ladies who are filmed give it a bit more cause they are on TV!!
You can do it,repeat after me "I can do it!" :D

I've told my OH that he HAS to stay at my head lol. im not planning on looking down there so neither is he

Yep I agree I sure dont wanna see that (i havent watched the birth videos and I dont intend to, coz frankly it's too late to go back)
Do they still do the thing where they offer you a mirror?
So my fella is going to stay at my head end, which he's more than happy with, at least till the worst is over.

my hubby is staying up the head end too ..Thats where he wants to be and suits me fine...His twin brother fained at the birth of his son and think my DH is worried he'll go the same way LOL

As much as i dislike the thought of labour i honestly can't wait, touching my Sams head has it crowned and looking down to see him born, him being placed on my tummy and saying hello Sam it's just wow, so amazing to finally meet this little person :cheer: Bring it on :D
