It all went well, Mr Harriss was able to join both sides using the vasovasostomy technique. Apparently there was fluid flowing when he performed it and sperm present which is a really positive sign.
Husband is currently feeling a little sore, however the next day or 2 will be when it hits him according to the consultant.
2 more weeks now and then we can finally start ttc, coincidentally, I’m on day 1 of my cycle today so I should be ovulating around the time he’s healed. Obviously I’m not expecting miracles in the first few months, however, I can be hopeful
5 days post reversal now and husband is healing up lovely, he’s got some black bruising (which is to be expected) but the swelling is practically gone now.
I’m on CD5 so by the time he’s allowed to try, I should be ovulating
We need to get rid of the backlog of dead sperm though first, during the surgery the consultant found lots of dead sperm but plenty of seminal fluid. He said once the dead sperm has passed, the new, living ones should come through.
