Using expressed milk

Sorry if this has been asked before but can't find the answer anywhere! I have a full bottle of expressed milk that I done on Tuesday and I went out this morning so took it with me in case she needed a feed but she didn't. Now I've left it on the bench but not sure if I can use it! I had thought it would be ok to leave for 6 hours like you can freshly expressed milk but when I looked it up it said it should be used pretty much straight away after taking it out the fridge is that right? I'm confused! Xx

6 hours at room temp i believe is the rule

Thank you so it doesn't matter if its freshly expressed or straight out the fridge the 6 hour rule still would apply? Xx

Yes as long as it wasnt sitting outside for a long rimwand then you put it in the fridge
