Upset stomach/brown discharge @ 11 + 6

[Hoping for no2]

I had the most awful diarrhoea last night and awful stomach cramps after. They died down and I went back to just feeling constantly sick as I have done since week 7. Mid morning today there was brown in my knickers when I went to the toilet and then on the tissue, and again when I next went. I've also been suffering with bad back ache today and just feel heavy and crampy. I called maternity liaison and they called for a scan for me but they can't see me till Wednesday when I'm due for my 12 weeks scan anyway. I'm really worried. I did have some spotting at 8 weeks and paid for a private scan and all was ok. Has anyone had this similar at this stage?

Oh no, I'm so sorry you're feeling rubbish.

Are you still spotting? I have no experience of it but hope all ok. If it were me I would probably try and get a private scan today/tomorrow as I wouldn't stop worrying x

Thank you so much Wednesday for your messages, I took your advice and went for a private scan today and all is ok! Measured 12 weeks exactly. A bonus, as I'll get another look Wednesday at my NHS dating scan. X

Oh how fabulous! Really pleased to hear all is fine, so damn worrying!

I wonder if the spotting was caused by the cervix being irritated or something from the sickness xx
