@ your new nursery knowing all about the other one why the hell is it even open. Definately write to OFSTED with your complaint. It is ridiculous. I was just telling OH about it cos I found it so shocking.

Glad your happy with the new nursery hun, I hope leaving him there on Thursday puts your mind at rest.

I would call the nursery and ask for the name of the owners... then write to them, with a copy of the letter to the manager of the the nursery. Explain the situation and how shocked you were at the way that Fynn was treated and how distressed he was when you arrived to pick him up. How that surely this kind of treatment was 'child neglet' and that you are looking for answers before you take the matter further. Give them a time limit to reply - say 10 days.

THEN go to ofsted.. whatever they say in a letter, (although of course they may not choose to reply) this way you will have so much ammunition. It might be a good idea to write down what happened yesterday and today, with time and names etc while it is still fresh in your mind. Good luck

to both you and Fynn.. and so glad you have found a nursery that you feel happy with... hope Fynn enjoys it on Thursday

Foxxi, so glad you found another nursery! I was worried about you last night, as nursery places here are like gold dust, I had to put Mhairi on the list when I was 5 months pregnant!

Make sure you detail everything in the letter to OFSTED. And keep us posted! I hope they shut them down!

Thats exactly what Im gonna do first... Im just in the process now of writing everything down what happened.. then write a letter to the manager and then OFSTED.

The *******s are not getting away with treating children like this.

When I feel so strongly about something.. I do not give in! Fynn was one of the lucky ones where I found out about this straight away... I couldnt live with myself for other babies/tots to go thru what Fynn did yesterday. I will NOT let this go!

Im praying that I have made a better choice in nursery with this new one.

I felt like crying when I read your post. That's so awful. Poor poor little boy and poor you having to find him in that state.
There is NO WAY I'd take him back there.
Is there someone you can report the nursery to? Sounds like other parents should be aware.
Hope you're ok now and that you find somewhere better for your little lad.

that upset me to read that too, poor boy, totally sympathise with you it makes me feel sick to think he was unhappy all day and neglected like that give him a big hug from all us at the forum x

I still feel churned up about it... but im glad I found out what the place was like sooner rather than later and I will certainly follow this thru with the letter to the manager and OFSTED and if nessecary the press!

I can't believe they didn't give you straight answers either, I bet they're expecting you to just leave it at that.

I am so glad that he is out of there. Just sounds like the assistant manager gave you excuses to me!
