upper lip 'tie' bit like tongue tie

Does anyone know anyone... whose LO had problems with their upper lip frenulum (not sure on spelling but the bit of skin between your top lip and gum)
It seems as though the doctors missed it because they usually only look for tongue tie, but my LO's top lip is quite tightly fixed to her gum. It needs surgery but I wondered if anyone has any experience with that. I have to take her to the doctor for MMR next week or so, so I will ask there. But
At the moment you can't notice it and it was only because I had a look inside that I found it. Later it will be more of a problem so want to get it sorted asap.

Haven't been to the doctors yet. Still in England. Going back on Monday so I will call them and get an appointment. I'm not looking forward to all the appointments but I am glad that I found it. Will let you know,
