I woke up at 2.30 with pains and decided to have a bath to try and relax myself (was also hoping to fall asleep in there like yesterday afternoon) but the pains kept coming. Before I got in there I rang the delivery suite to see if I could go down there to be checked if the bath didnt make any difference, was told to try and stay at home as long as possible.
After having a bath I put the tens machine on but tbh Im not finding it of any use, I could do with a scroll wheel on there for intensity - ie 6 isnt enought, 7 is too much but within a few minutes Im turning it up again
Last night I went to bed feeling like I was going to be sick, and have been feeling the same through most of the early hours. I also have tons of pressure but feel as though I had trapped wind just waiting to come out but couldnt and was also constipated - thats all changed within the past 2 hours as Ive had the complete opposite.
At 6am I managed to have three lots of tightenings in the space of 10 minutes and Im currently sat on the birth ball timing them on contraction master and have been getting them between 2mins 3 secs and 3 mins 44 secs apart lasting for 41-57 seconds
Also my temperature seems to have gone through the roof
UPDATE - Just rang the delivery ward, explained that my contractions are 2-3 mins apart lasting 50-70secs (occasional few have lasted 1.5minutes) and was told to stay at home as long as I feel comfortable with. Was asked if I was losing anything down below which Im not as Ive already had the show and plug, as soon as I put the phone down I felt damp so ran upstairs and I think it may well be my waters starting to leak - yellowish colour, and not pee as I havent peed as much as Ive just lost in a few days (peeing every two minutes)
