update on scan

well i went to the hospital today and he did a internal scan and the results are as follows...the sac has a membrane and a baby (i actually seen the bean which i didnt two days ago )which is 6 wks gestation, but the sac is now 8 wks, the specialist said that on report that it is possible missed miscarriage but he told me that he would rather wait and do another scan and if baby has grown then it will be fine, he did not want to do anything at all until another scan was done so i am booked in for the 3rd of dec for another scan and will see what happens then..

How awful for you to have to wait until 3rd Dec!

Sometimes if you're expecting the worse news, it doesn't work out so bad. I'm hoping for the best for you and your little one.

What hospital are you at? I only ask because I live in Belfast and there doesn't seem to be too many Northern Ireland people about on the forum.

i am going to enniskillen hospital or the eirne i think that what they call it lol

i was there for my last m/c and just being there again brought back memories. but the dr was good and listened to what i wanted so that was a good thing.. they are good there and told me if i start bleeding to call them straight away, last night i was getting really bad cramps and i was dreading the worst and checking allthe time to see if i was bleeding but now it has stopped i still have a glimmer of hope
