So as some of you know, 3 weeks ago i had a growth scan at 28 weeks and it showed that our Lil Girl was on the smaller side of the scale and they were worried. Was also diagnosed with Diabetes and told Lil Miss wasnt getting enough nutrients......Distraught wasnt the word!
Well because of all this, ive to get fortnightly monitoring, so i was there today.
Im happy to say that i got another growth scan and shes measuring fine
.
The diabetes is going well and ive to continue the way i have been, but if my levels shoot up at any point ive to phone them.
Still not out of the woods tho as have to get monitored again every 2weeks for growth and for the diabetes cos they think i may need to go onto Insulin until she arrives as i took a bad reaction to the Metformin that they gave me last time.
And they still want me induced at 38 weeks.
The scan was amazing!! So much detail. She was lying with her hand behind her head, same way i was lying while scan was taking place, so like her mummy already lol.
The scan lady also said that she was showing signs of trying to take breaths, which she told me was a good thing.
Her head is down, but not engaged, so could still turn, so fingers crossed she stays down lol.
All in all ive came out of the hospital feeling very positive, much better than last time
