Back from consultants - have gestational diabetes

GTT results and everything else show i have gestational diabetes

I was kinda expecting it, but still worrying

Babys fundal height measured again at 33 weeks and on the growth scan her abdominal measurement was 33 weeks

Being referred to consultant and diabetic clinic now at the big hospital 18 miles away (same place i wil be giving birth) and i have my first appointment on monday

Oh hon im sorry to hear that but all is not lost. It can be very very common during pregnancy and it does not mean you won't have a bouncing healthy bubba, it will also go once bubs is born...

Sorry to hear that chick but it won't last, like steelgoddess says it will go once you have had your baby and I'm sure LO will be fine

aww hun Im sorry to hear that but as other have said its not the end of the world they can control it well and will keep a really close eye on you and baby!

Thanks everyone, just gutted as i wanted a homebirth etc with the least amount of intervention and now i am gonna have the opposite, oh well what evers safe for her and me i suppose
